RUOK Day 2025
Yesterday's RUOK? Day reminds us (including myself), that we all have ups and downs, our entire lives.
There will be times when we’re not OK.
How you deal with it, makes the difference and determines your experience.
Talking it out with others, helps significantly.
Not necessarily to get advice, sometimes just getting it out of your head, off your chest, works wonders.
Articulating what’s going on for you, gives you clarity on your own situation.
Why Brain Breaks? 🧠
Because your brain cannot handle this constant onslaught of information.
Brain fog. Sleep deprivation. Exhaustion. Burnout. It’s happening everywhere.
And this is not OK.
Regular Brain Breaks, will improve the architecture of your brain.
It’s within your control.
Taking a regular 'Brain Break'
The more information you pump into your brain, the harder it has to work!
The GOOD NEWS: you can do something about it.
Re-introducing the low-tech (or no-tech) intervention called Brain Breaks.
This is where you put your brain into neutral, allowing it to idle, to be bored and letting it rest (think of a snowglobe and letting the flakes settle).
Create your own opportunities to unplug and pause. Your brain will thank you for it by functioning better and better...little by little, 1% at a time.
