Relaxed and Alert.
Relaxation is such an important byproduct of meditation.
When you're relaxed, there's a sense of ease, flow...and spaciousness.
You enjoy whatever it is you're doing...more.
Focus improves too.
Tension falls away.
Muscles unwind. Thinking subsides.
PLUS: You create mental space for new ideas to come in...those 'AHA' moments.
Relaxation is needed for creativity.
Being Relaxed and Alert.
Over the years, I've seen a lot of participants relax.
Some are so relaxed after the practice, they could easily go to sleep.
And not back to work 😉
The key is a balance of being relaxed and alert...at the same time.
If you're too relaxed, you won't be very alert. If you're too alert, you won't be relaxed.
Imagine being relaxed and alert as you go. Day to day.
Would you get more done? Be more approachable? Have more energy?
I bet the answer is...YES.
