Unplugging…
Information is thrust at us and our brains can’t cope with the constant onslaught.
Tech companies want your attention (it's worth $$$) and know how to get it.
This digital deluge means many are drowning in information, akin to drinking water from a fire hose.
Consider this: the more information you pump into your brain, the harder it has to work to process it.
The paradox.
We seek out information...as we thrive on novelty. This desire to take in new information constantly, is overworking the brain.
Fast, overstimulated and information overloaded minds are eroding mental health.
And physical health without mental health is useless.
When the mind is struggling, the body’s physical prowess cannot create a sense of overall well-being.
Unplugging.
Learn to create opportunities to unplug and pause; for better brain functioning, clarity and performance.
That's what the weekly Brain Break sessions are about.
Reduce stimulation. Tune into your own inner-world, to develop a better understanding of how you are amongst the busyness, pressures and distractions.
Intercept and course correct accordingly.
Treat yourself with some precious quiet and quality me time. You deserve it.
